Our son will be turning 17 while we are there what do you recommend

    Hello Laura,
Quite simply there's nothing more magical than having a birthday whilst visiting the wonder of Walt Disney World Resort and I'm so happy to know you're going to be celebrating your dear son's 17th during your upcoming visit!
There are so many fun and cool things to experience during a Disney trip from Thrill-seeker style Attractions to Sports & Recreation but I think my current favourite thing to suggest for your 17 year old would be Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire by ILMxLAB and The VOID at Disney Springs.  This awesome hyper-reality 3D adventure is suitable for all Guests 48" or taller and takes Guests (or should I say members of the Rebellion) on a multi-sensory experience where they can meet and interact with various Star Wars characters.
After defeating the Dark Side why not take Ewok over to Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar where you can cool off and relax in this Coca-Cola tasting paradise where I recommend trying the Freestyle Experience which gives Guests the option to choose from more than 100+ sparkling & still Coke products from around the globe - mix and match to create your own unique flavour.
Plus be sure to collect an 'I'm celebrating' button for your dear son which are usually available from any Guest Relations!
