My son will be turning 11 October 27. This will be our last day at Orlando when we are leaving on the plane. I want to have a Cake at one of our meals when we are at Walt Disney World. How is the best way to have a cake when we are there?

    Hey Cindy,

Disney World is a great place to celebrate a birthday and what a sweet mom you are to want to plan something special!  Be sure to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for him at any Guest Relations location.

You can order a custom cake by calling 407-827-2253. They offer a nice selection of different cakes from which to choose. You can do this when dining at most table service restaurants.  They need 48 hours advanced notice & advanced dining reservations are required.

If you'd like to get a small cake for your son, you could get a mini cake in a Pirate's Treasure Chest which comes with a special surprise toy. These cakes are available at most Family table service locations. Call 407-WDW-DINE for more info.

You can add more pixie dust to his BD celebration meal with party favors. Options include a goodie bag with a Mickey party hat, game, coloring book & crayons. The deluxe goodie bag contains all of the above plus a magnet activity set, and Mickey shaped straw all in a special celebration tote bag. These are available at most family table service locations. Call 407-WDW-DINE for more info or request them when you check in for your reservation.

Wishing your son many magical birthday memories :-) Allison
