When we look back at Walt Disney's legacy and the theme parks that have since come into existence, of the best things about his original vision was to create a place that wasn't just intended for children but for adults to enjoy. Disney Adults have felt welcome to just enjoy themselves at any age in these spaces. Some of the folks I'm friends with today didn't get a chance to visit any of the Disney theme parks until they were an adult and fell in love with it - so I think planning this for your son is definitely a solid awesome-parent move and I'm here to help you plan this with some personal insight of my own:
- On the other hand, there's really nothing quite like visiting Walt Disney World Resort with its impressive variety of Disney Resort Hotels to stay at as well as many more theme parks and attractions to experience. Either way, it's definitely great that his birthday falls around my personal preferred time of year to visit and not during one of the intensely popular periods; in my opinion going in January when the weather is milder and the holiday crowds have departed both result in better first-time trips! In the end I think it could come down to how much time you have allotted for this celebratory trip, how much ground you're willing to cover as well as your overall budget - but either way he's sure to enjoy living his best life as a grown-up kid as he celebrates turning 20!
