Hi my son is turning 9 in june I see that you said free dinning but I dont see anything thats see free on a birthday and I looked at free dinning only if you stay on Disney Resorts and we are stating at Shades of green resort.Anything free on a birthday?

Hi, Melissa! Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A happy upcoming birthday to your son, and Happy UNbirthday to you! I’ll give you some ideas for free perks for your son’s big day.

Did you know at the ticket windows to each Walt Disney World Resort theme park, as well as Guest Relation Centers you can find “Birthday” and “I’m Celebrating” buttons? Write the birthday boy’s name in Sharpie and cover with a small piece of scotch tape to prevent smudges. It will garner him birthday wishes from Cast Members and guests alike all week long! You can also mention that it’s your dude’s birthday at various participating resort restaurants and he may be presented with a cupcake, but this little piece of magic may not appear everywhere.

I know you’ll love Shades of Green Resorts - it’s an expansive, lush Resort with plenty of natural sights and plenty of nice folks. Have a magical vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
