hi, my son is turning 7 in a few weeks and his godmother was going to take him to the theme park for his birthday.. do u still honor free entrance on his birthday and does she need to take his birth certificate with her when she takes him on his birthday

    Hi, Diane!

Happy birthday to your son! I’m glad to hear he will be celebrating his special day at the Disneyland Resort with his godmother.

Although the Disneyland Resort did grant a free park admission ticket to Guests on their birthday as part of a promotion about five years ago, this is not currently offered so your son will need a purchased ticket for admittance to the theme parks. However, there are still other ways to make his day at the resort special, including a complimentary birthday button available at City Hall in Disneyland Park. It can be customized with his name so he’ll receive personalized birthday wishes from Cast Members all day! If your son and his godmother have any table-service meals planned, they should let their server know they’re celebrating his birthday because he will receive some extra magic during the dining experience.

I hope this helps, Diane, and that your son enjoys a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to The Happiest Place on Earth for his birthday!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
