My son will be turning 13 during a cruise I was hoping to book. Is he recognized as a 12 or 13 year old for the fare?

    Ahoy Margaret –

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for allowing us to help with your cruise planning! You are correct that 13 is the age young pirates leave Neverland and are charged higher fare. Your cruise fare depends on the number of guests and the ages of the guests that are sailing. Since your son will be 12 years old at the time of the sailing, he will be recognized as a 12-year-old for billing purposes. However, if there are only 2 guests traveling (just you and your son for instance), then he will be charged the adult fare – so to get the most for your money, make sure you grab some extra sailors for your cabin, Margaret! We hope you decide to book that cruise you are thinking of and if you have any more questions, please come back here for help.
