My son will be turning 1 in December I don't really want to through him a big party because it's in the middle of winter and where we live upstate usually snows a lot I was thinking of bring him out to Disney but I afraid he's to young. What to do with him

    Hi Jasmine!

How fun to be planning your little prince's first birthday!  Coming from Colorado, I completely understand your desire to seek warmer weather and where better to celebrate than the Most Magical Place on Earth?

There are plenty of magical experiences your son will truly enjoy.  In fact, Disney has just created a special planning site for those traveling with little ones. Here, you can discover fun ideas and offers "designed with your family in mind."  One of my favorite "first experiences" to do with my kids, was getting their first haircuts at the Harmony Barber Shop in the Magic Kingdom.  Disney really has a way of sprinkling an already memorable moment with just a touch of Pixie Dust.  Although your son may not remember all of the magic your special vacation will hold, you will, and creating those life long memories you can share with him later, will be priceless.

I'd love to continue helping you plan your son's big day, so if there is anything else I can assist you with, please let me know.  Until then, have a delightfully Disney day!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
