Hey Howdy Hey Vanessa and welcome to planDisney!
The fall is such a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort for many reasons.
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom,
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival and cooler weather are some of the top reasons to visit Walt Disney World at that time. Thank you for your question on availability at Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party. Let's get this wagon train a-movin' so we can get you some answers!
One of the big perks of attending an after-hours event such as Mickey's-Not-So-Scary Halloween party is having this experience with reduced crowds. I am sorry to say that once tickets are sold out on particular dates, it is a very rare occurrence that you would find availability after this happens. By all means, you can keep checking online and it would not hurt to check with Cast Members at your resort or in the parks when you arrive onsite. If you are still planning to visit Magic Kingdom on the day of a Halloween Party, I do have a suggestion of something you can do to still have an amazing night.
One of the best parts about seasonal holidays is that the whole resort usually participates, to some degree, in the celebration. Usually, during the Halloween season, the Magic Kingdom Resorts,
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa,
Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort get into the spirit of Halloween to a degree. You might find special Halloween treats at each resort that are unique to that resort and unable to get anywhere else. One fun thing you can do after you leave Magic Kingdom is taking a monorail ride and hop to each to grab a sweet treat and take a walk around the resorts. They usually have so much to check out from souvenir shops, playgrounds and beaches you can spend a nice evening experiencing. I would say you should try to make Disney's Polynesian Village Resort one of the last stops so you can grab a seat at the beach and still view
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show. The music is piped in from Magic Kingdom and you can see Cinderella Castle from the beach which makes for a very nice spot to watch the show with smaller crowds and a much more relaxed environment.
In my opinion, the best part about a trip to Walt Disney World is experiencing new things together. There will be plenty for all of you to experience and share and I hope I was able to give you an option worth considering for an alternate plan for your trip. Best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming trip and please feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
