My son will turn 3 while we are in WDW. I know that kids 2 and under are free but what happens when a child turns 3 in the middle of the stay? Will we have to buy him tickets and pay for his meals the 2 days that he will be 3?

    Hi Angela!

Disney goes by age at check in.  So, if your son is 2 at check-in then he will be counted as a 2 year old for the length of your stay.  Of course you'll be responsible for paying for meals unless you are at a buffet (or at meals served family-style or "all you care to eat" meals), where children under 2 eat free.  All other meals you can choose to purchase his own child's meal or he can share from your plate.

I hope your son has a VERY HAPPY Birthday!
