My son will turn 10 three days before our trip in Jan. He is a very picky eater and hardly eats anything. Since I am planning the trip now, do I consider him 9 or 10? We are getting the dining plan and I am not sure what to purchase. Thanks!!

Hi Dawn.  I have picky eaters myself so I feel your pain sister!  Here's the scoop though: pricing is based on a child's age at the time of travel.  Since your son will be ten before you travel, he would be considered an adult when it comes to the dining plan.  He'll also require an adult magic your way ticket.  Hope that helps!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
