My son is going to turn 3 midway through our stay at Disney, do we need to purchase him tickets for the remainder of the trip?

Hi Doug! In the past we have had a similar situation with a nine-year-old child turning 10-years-old during our vacation. I wondering the exact same thing about purchased tickets at the 3-9 year old price vs. the 10+ price. I was assured that my daughter would be able to use her 3-9 year old priced ticket  through out our visit and, because we had the no expiration option, she would be able to use that ticket until no remaining entries were available. I believe that this same thought would apply to you and your family. Your son will begin your vacation without the need for a ticket and this vacation should be completed without the need for a ticket to gain park entry. I would purchase your Magic Your Way tickets for your family just as you had planned and not make any special ticket purchases to accommodate your son.

Do not forget to mention that this is a Special Occasion Vacation for your son's Birthday so he can receive a Birthday button to wear for your trip. Have a Magical Vacation!
