My son will turn 3 on the last day of our trip, the day we're going to Mickey's Christmas Party. From what I understand he will not need a ticket for park admission, since he'll be 2 when we arrive, however will he need a ticket for the event?

BOO to YOU, Shauna! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is my favorite fright for the entire family! I took my baby girl to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in December and she enjoyed every minute of it up until the end of the parade, when she got too sleepy to stay.

You are correct that your son will be treated throughout your stay as the age he is on your day of check-in. He will be allowed into the parks during the day with complimentary admission, and the same goes for seasonal parties. He will not need a ticket for the special event. This is another reason it was more affordable for my family to visit; our baby girl was free! You’ll find an early parade for your son to enjoy, not to mention the specialty character visits (grab a Halloween Party times guide as you enter the park) and the amazing trick or treat stations that he can participate in. If your family has allergies, they have a special allergy-friendly trick or treat bag you can grab to the right as you check in. Be sure to purchase specialty treats in the Main Street Confectionary and in other locations such as Gaston’s Tavern.
