Welcome to planDisney, Thomas! Thanks for asking your question as you prepare for your Disney Cruise.
I'm happy to share that your ten-year-old son can participate in the youth activities at
Edge (the tween club for guests ages 11-14) as long as he is given parental consent. Please drop by Edge on the day you embark to speak with a Crew Member. You can check out the space, and if you deem it a good fit for your child, you may sign a waiver to grant him access to Edge.
He'll be one lucky kid with access to
Disney's Oceaneer Club,
Oceaneer Lab, and Edge. Your son will be able to choose from a plethora of guided activities and activities available for free play in both spaces. If you'll be sailing to
Disney Castaway Cay, be sure to reference the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see what activities Edge will be hosting on the island. My son is just a little bit older than yours, and he loves to meet up with the Edge crew to play games and hang out on Castaway Cay.
Thomas, I'm sure you'll begin your travels soon, so please update your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or check to be sure you have the latest version. The app will be your guide to all of the merriment taking place onboard. With a
Very Merrytime sailing, there will be so much to do and see, I don't want you to miss out on any of the fun.
Have a wonderful sailing! Happy holidays!
