My son will turn 5 when we head to Disney World. I’m wondering if the Star Wars VIP tour will be good for him or if it will be too much. 7 hours seems like a long time, but if you have VIP access it may be worth it? Weighing Tour vs dessert party

    Hi Rachel!

I'm so excited to hear that you are interested in Star Wars Guided Tour! I enjoyed this tour with a group of my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists last year and we loved it. Our tour guides were so much fun and had so much knowledge and trivia about the Star Wars attractions and experiences in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Plus, we were able to enjoy some incredible experiences that were only possible because we were part of the tour!

One of the great things about the Star Wars Guided Tour is that it really is fun for Guests of all ages. In fact, we had a youngling with us as part of our tour group and he seemed to have a lot of fun! While there are some parts of the tour where your guides will spend time talking to your group about Star Wars history and details about the experience you are getting ready to enjoy, I thought the tour was paced well and had a lot for Guests of all ages to enjoy. Plus, you won't need to worry about waiting in queues for the attractions and Character Experiences you visit during the tour and as the mom to two little ones, I know that makes a huge difference. And, your Padawan one will have a guaranteed spot in Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, where he will be able to train with Jedi Masters and learn the ways of the Force. So I definitely think that the Star Wars Guided Tour will be a magical experience for your family during your vacation!

Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning for news about all of the amazing things headed to the theme parks in time for your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
