Bright suns, Jayme. Welcome to planDisney, where you don't have to travel to a galaxy far, far away to get answers to all of your Disney vacation questions!
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at
Disney's Hollywood Studios may just be the most immersive land at the
Walt Disney World Resort. Once you enter, you really feel like you are stepping onto the planet Batuu. You can often see Chewbacca, Rey, Stormtroopers, and Kylo Ren interacting with Guests. There are some incredible shops like
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities and
Black Spire Outfitters. You can build your own droid at the
Droid Depot or your own handbuilt lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop. Plus, you can eat some intergalactic cuisine at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo or enjoy an out-of-this-world beverage at
Oga's Cantina. And did I mention the amazing attractions,
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance? You will
not want to overlook either of those!
While your son is not yet old enough to have his own
My Disney Experience account, he does not need it to play the Batuu Bounty Hunters game. As long as his
MagicBand+ is set up and he has the
Play Disney Parks mobile app downloaded onto his phone, he will be able to play this exciting interactive game!
Did you know that by downloading this app, your son can also use his phone as a
datapad to interact with other parts of the land as well? He'll be able to translate the text around the land, scan objects, decrypt communications, and hack into different devices. It's pretty nifty!
Jayme, I hope that you and your son have a wonderful time living out your own
Star Wars adventure! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to
reach out!
'Til the spire,
Matt
