Hi Lisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Oh boy! Tomorrow is the beginning of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I know how exciting that is ... and I know what it is like to have an extremely picky eater in the family. Both of my kiddos are very picky, so I understand what a challenge that can be when eating out!
I have found that restaurants at Walt Disney World are usually very accommodating of picky taste buds. We either pick-up something from a
Quick-Service location like a plate of waffles, Mickey-shaped pretzel, or a hot dog for the kids to eat and take it with us to
Table-Service restaurants, or we ask what other items can be made for them. My husband and I love
'Ohana for dinner, but there is no way our little ones are chowing down on the Hawaiian-flavored dishes with us. We always ask what extra kid-sized items are available, but not on the menu, and have always been offered a selection of picky-kid-approved dishes like grilled cheese sandwiches.
While I can't guarantee that pancakes will be available as an option the day you dine at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, I definitely recommend you ask a Cast Member what options there are for your son. Hopefully, there will be something for everyone available, so you all leave with full bellies and lots of smiles!
Enjoy your
upcoming visit, Lisa! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
