My son suffers adhd and doesn’t stand still when I take him to the Disney parks. Is there a way he can receive a DAS for his condition.

    Hi Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney.

The Disability Access Service (DAS) is an amazing inclusive program for those guests who have trouble tolerating wait times in traditional queue lines. If approved, you will be offered one-hour return windows to experience attractions with up to five travel partners at select attractions.

While I am not qualified to make the determination on acceptance into the program, here are your options for registering. First, you can pre-register via a video chat interview online 30 days in advance of your visit but no less than two days. Video chat is available between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM EST. If you miss your online window, simply stop Guest Relations to register in person. Both options will require your son to be available for a short interview.

I recommend before your chat or visit to the parks you verify everyone in your travel party is linked in the "Family and Friends List" through the My Disney Experience Mobile App. This will aid in making DAS reservations for your Cast Member assistant or yourself on the day of your visit. There is even a "DAS" tab right on the mobile app.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
