Hello. My son and I will be staying at the Ft Wilderness Campground. I understand there is no charge for parking there. Does that mean I will need to pay for parking each day we visit the Disney parks? Thanks!

Hey there, Wendy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

My family and I really enjoy staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! It's a rootin' tootin' good time. Probably my favorite part about it is just how nice all of the Cast Members and Guests alike are. It truly is a magical campground. I think that you'll be happy to know that as a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you'll receive complimentary standard parking at all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. When you arrive at a park you'll need to have your MagicBand scanned by the parking attendant at the entrance. If you wish to upgrade to preferred parking, there would be an upcharge at that time. Isn't that a great benefit of being an on property Guest?

While you are staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, I hope you'll get to enjoy breakfast or brunch at Trail's End Restaurant. It's really delicious food all week long but on the weekends the menu gets amped up. On the buffet you'll find all your breakfast favorites and then options like fried chicken, mac and cheese, chili and even some cornbread. It's such a fun take on brunch!

I hope this helps, Wendy. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
