My son, 4, and I will be staying at WDW from Dec 11-14th. Any suggestions on which days to visit the different parks? I'm trying to make sure we can see most of the parades and shows like fantasmic. We arrive early afternoon the 11th and leave early the 14

    Hi Kimberly,

Only a couple of more days and the magic begins!

I'm not sure how many parks you want to visit during your stay.  With a 4 year old, I'd spend most of my time at the Magic Kingdom (MK). There are so many fun things to do there for a child that age.  If you want to go to a park when you arrive on the 11th, you could do a half day at MK and plan to spend one of your full days there as well and a full day at another park.

Sounds like you are interested in Fantasmic! Great choice by the way! I checked the online calendar for Dec 11th, 12th & 13th which would be your options. Its scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Dec 11th & 13th so you'll have four opportunities to see it.

You can check the parade & fireworks schedules for all four of the theme parks online by clicking on the following links:

    Magic Kingdom
    Disney's Hollywood Studios
    Disney's Animal Kingdom
    Epcot

From there, select December from the drop down list next to the View Month tab. That will take you to that month's calendar which will list park hours and Extra Magic Hours. Click on a specific day for parade & fireworks schedules. Not every parade and show is listed on this calendar (i.e., Beauty & The Beast - Live on Stage at Disney's Hollywood Studios). Be sure you pick up a Times Guide as you enter the parks to confirm as schedules are always subject to change without notice.

Wishing you and your son many magical memories :-) Allison
