My son is 8 & we are staying @Disney sports resort. How do I find out about dining with characters from Star wars or Big Hero or Bolt? We will be there in October during Halloween celebration- what main spooky things are suggested? Doing AK&MK park

Trick or Treat, Sarah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm a huge fan of Character Dining at Walt Disney World Resort dining locations as a way to combine two of my family's must-dos at once: eat good food and meet our favorite characters. Disney does not currently provide the opportunity to "eat and meet" any of the characters you listed at a dining location.

Many of your favorite Star Wars characters can be found at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park in the Star Wars Launch Bay(such as Kylo Ren, BB-8, and Chewbacca). Trust me, you wouldn't want to eat with a Wookie!

When Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens in 2019 at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park, I am hopeful that part of the experience will be a Character Dining Restaurant.

Baymax from Big Hero 6 can be found meeting Guests in Future World.

Bolt is one of the hardest characters to find in recent years and does not currently participate in a Character Meet with Guests.

For spooky experiences, you should look into attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. With specially-themed parades, fireworks, trick-or-treating and many Disney Characters decked-out in their Halloween garb(including the Headless Horseman), it is the Spookiest place to be in all of Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a Spooktacular Vacation!
