My son would like to stay at the new Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser. I've never been to Disney and not sure where to even begin. When and where would we be able to start making reservations for a trip?

    Bright Suns Lawrence!

WOW! Your first visit to Walt Disney World will include a voyage to another galaxy! WOW!

Your young padawan has an out of this world idea-to travel aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser! This spectacular experience is not your typical hotel stay or theme park visit. Try a simple Jedi mind trick-imagine the Galactic Starcruiser not as a hotel, but as a cruise ship. Your time will be spent aboard the Halcyon Starcruiser enjoying exotic cuisine, role playing scenarios, multiple activities, and a planet excursion to Batuu. Bookings are for two nights, the experience is immersive, and the price includes food and activities.

Reservations open to the public on October 28. Early bookings for Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Passholders were only available by phone, but once reservations drop for the general public, you should be able to reserve your cabin online at the Walt Disney World website or through a Cast Member at (407) 939-5277. Do create a My Disney Experience account in advance to make the process a bit smoother.

If you wish to spend time visiting the four theme parks, you will need tickets and a separate reservation at a standard hotel for before or after your journey to the stars.

May the force be with you!
