My son (13) and I have a split stay AKL (Dec 8-10) and then transferring to ASMusic (Dec. 10-16). If I do online check in for both hotels, can I have my KTTW for ASM available for pick up at AKL? If not, how do I get to ASM from AKL? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Julia!

I'm writing to you from my hotel room at WDW!! My family almost always does split stays during our vacations at Walt Disney World.

I highly recommend online check in as it is a real time-saver. I was astonished at how quickly I had my resort key in hand when I arrived Pop Century a few days ago.

Since you have two resort reservations, you will need to check in online separately for both. You will receive your resort key for All-Star Music when you arrive that hotel on December 10th.

After checking out of Animal Kingdom Lodge on the 10th, you can ask Bell Services to transfer your luggage to your next resort. Go ahead and visit a park, water park and/or Downtown Disney. If you choose to go to one of those locations, you'll then take a bus later in the day to All-Star Music. You can use your resort card from Animal Kingdom Lodge until you are checked in to All-Star Music. Your room charging privileges, etc. are actually valid until  midnight of the day that you check in.

If you'd rather go directly from Animal Kingdom Lodge to All-Star Music, you can take a taxi or use WDW transportation. Take a bus from AKL to the Animal Kingdom park and transfer to an All-Star Music bus.

Best wishes to you for a wonderful vacation!
