    My son has special needs we would like to see fantasmic but we are going during spring break. I don't think he could last 90minutes waiting for it to start. Any suggestions for how to get in without waiting that long?

    Hey Alison,

    Great name! There are 2 things that are going to make this tough for you: (1) Spring break is super crowded & (2) Fantasmic! is no longer performed every evening so any night it is will be packed. 

    Check the availability for the Fantasmic! Dinner package during your stay by calling 407-WDW-DINE. We are well within the 180 day window to make reservations so there may not be any available. If not, keeping checking to see if there are any cancellations. If you are able to get reservations, keep in mind that the section for the dinner package is reserved but the seats within the section are not so you'll want to arrive earlier than the 30 minutes they recommend.

    You may be able to have the other members of your party wait in line & you & your son join them before the theater opens. Everyone in your party should be together when you enter the theater. Once you have your seats, someone could walk around with your son while the others in your party reserve the seats. If there is anything (iPod, etc.) that helps entertain your son, bring it.

    Even Guests with a Guest Assistance Card have to wait in line. There are handicapped seats reserved for those Guests traveling in wheelchair/ECVs but they still have to wait in line. Only one person may sit with the Guest in a wheelchair & the other members in their party are allowed to sit in companion seats near them (if available).

    Check with Guest Relations when you enter DHS to see if they have other suggestions. Also ask a Cast Member at the entrance of the Fantasmic! theater.  I'm not sure what kind of special needs your son has but please be aware that there are some parts of the show that are loud & lots of fireworks & special lighting effects that bother some sensitive to them.  Sending you pixie dusted wishes this works out for you & your son!
