Hi there, Orlando! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so sorry to hear that your son was sick during your trip. I know that must have put a damper on the magic, and I hope he has rested and recovered. I'd love to do my very pixie-dusted best to try to help you, so let's take a look at your options.
It sounds like you canceled your
theme park reservations for the day he fell ill and there may not have been reservations available for an alternate day during your trip. I hope I have that right! Reservations are subject to availability, and I know with the return of the nighttime spectaculars recently, they have been filling up quickly! I'm so sorry if it wasn't made clear to you that this may be the case. If you were using single-day tickets by chance, each ticket has an expiration date of December 30, 2023. In this case, you can go ahead and make new reservations for this last day. I'm just guessing though that you were likely using
multi-day tickets, which are valid within 13 days of the first use. I realize we may be outside of this window at this point, in which case your tickets are technically expired. It hurts my heart to have to relay that news! If you'd like to talk to someone about your situation directly, the wonderful Cast Members in
Guest Services would be happy to discuss it with you. You can reach them at (714) 781-4636.
If you are still within your 13-day window, go ahead and secure a new theme park reservation, and off you go! If you are still having difficulty finding availability, I encourage all Guests to keep checking. With some dedicated refreshing, especially as the date gets closer, you may see some reservations open up! Guests are always changing their plans and the
reservation calendar updates live with these changes!
Orlando, I know this was not the news you were hoping for, but I do hope that you were able to capture some wonderful memories during your visit. If you happen to have added
Genie+ to your tickets, don't forget that your tickets also included unlimited digital downloads of all the
Disney PhotoPass photos you captured each day. You can easily log into your Disneyland Mobile App to view them but tapping the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and selecting "Photos". From here, you can easily tap the photo, choose "Save", and it's yours forever! Even if you didn't include Genie+, you still have the opportunity to purchase photos individually or as a package with
Disney PhotoPass+ One Day even after you've gone home! I know I love having visual mementos of our days at the Happiest Place on Earth!
If you have any more planning questions, we are always here for you at

Until next time,
Tara
