My son and I are going on a short 3 day Disney trip at the end of October. Unlike our other trips, we are not purchasing the photo pass. Would we still be able to ask disney photographers to take pics and purchase them individually?

    Hi, Yu Wen!

You may be confusing Disney Memory Maker and Disney PhotoPass. Disney PhotoPass Service allows you to have all your pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers and ride photos all in one place. Once you return home from your vacation, you can visit the Disney PhotoPass website and view all your PhotoPass photos. Your photos are available to purchase individually as well as photo related merchandise. There is no fee to use this service and you are not obligated to purchase any of the photos taken. If you wish to purchase any photos, you may select which photos you would like without having to purchase them all.

Disney Memory Maker is used along side Disney PhotoPass Service. Memory Maker allows you to download each and every Disney PhotoPass picture that is taken of your family for one flat cost.

To acquire a PhotoPass card, simply ask any PhotoPass Photographer. You will then use that one card for all pictures taken during your Walt Disney World Resort visit. Once you arrive home, all of your fantastic pictures will all be in one convenient location for you to view.

Wishing you and your son a magical vacation, Yu Wen!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
