My son has severe food allergies. At the counter service restaurants (and even the table service restaurants) will the restaurants heat up food for us if we bring it ourselves? We will be purchasing food for 2 adults and 1 child.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, No.  State Law prohibits Disney Worlds Culinary Cast Members from preparing, cooking or reheating any foods brought in by their guests, so they will not be able to heat or reheat any food item that is not prepared by them.  This is a health hazard for food cross contamination when there is heating involved, but they will certainly do all they can to accommodate your son's needs.  You can bring foods that you know won't need heating up, such as snacks, etc...if that helps you any!  Because this sounds like quite a serious situation, I definitely suggest you call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) to discuss your sons special dietary needs with a cast member who I am sure will help you in any way they possibly can and maybe offer some helpful tips within their health inspection guidelines.  Good Luck and I hope you figure something out so you will have a fantastic trip!!!!

    Best wishes,
