Dear Lailanie, thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. I am happy to share information about
Disability Access Service (DAS) to make your visit with your son enjoyable and magical.
Lailanie, up until two days before your visit, you can request a video chat through
DAS Advance for the pre-registration feature. However, if you’re unable to complete this in time, you can go to a Guest Services location upon arrival, and they will help you with DAS information and registration.
Once you are registered for DAS, it is good for the duration of your stay. You can request return times for attractions from the
Disneyland mobile app or in person at a Guest Services location.
If you’re looking for a tranquil place to rest with less foot traffic, one of my favorite spots is on the side of Sleeping Beauty Castle. When you’re facing the castle, head towards the right to an area called
Snow White Grotto. This is a great spot to take photos with the castle as your backdrop as there will be few Guests behind you. Here you’ll also find a Wishing Well (proceeds go to children’s charities), marble figurines of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and peaceful melodies playing softly in the background. It is one of my favorite places to slow down and take a break.
I hope you have a most magical visit, Lailanie. Please come back and see us if you have more questions, you have a friend in me.
