I have a son with Sensory Processing Disorder. He easily overstimulates. I am wondering which resort(s)would work well for minimizing the sensory input and allow us to try and keep things more like a home environment.

    Hi Jennifer,

I think I have a good suggestion for a resort for your family.  Have you considered the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge?  Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a jaw-dropping beauty among resorts and the Villas section of the resort is right next to the main lodge.  The Villas are incredibly quiet; it's one of the aspects I love most about this resort, especially after a busy day in the theme parks.  The music and decor in this building are understated and soothing.  There are quiet nooks and crannies to inhabit throughout the resort.  I would imagine that a child with a low sensory threshold would be quite comfortable here.

Best of luck to you as you plan your magical Disney vacation!
