    My son has been saving up to build a lightsaber and droid. He's been saving up for the things he was wanting to do. Can I put his savings on a gift card and let him use the funds to pay for the lightsaber and droid?

    Hi Amber! Your son should be so proud of himself! I love that he has been saving his money for his visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! My son did the same thing to make his own droid at Droid Depot!

    Once your son has saved up his hard-earned money, he can purchase a Disney Gift Card. The Disney Gift Card can be applied to making his lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop or making his droid at Droid Depot! My son even asked for Disney Gift Cards as birthday gifts so he could have a little extra money to apply to some of the special features available as an upgrade once you are at the workshop!

    Amber, don’t forget to make advance reservations for both the lightsaber and droid making experiences! These are extremely popular places for Guests to visit. Your son is going to have such a great time building these two amazing souvenirs from his Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
