My son and I registered for the Princess Half Marathon 2 months ago, and he just found out yesterday that he has been accepted to the Disney College work program starting in January. Will he still be able to participate in the half marathon in February?

    Hi, Laura!

Congratulations to your son for being accepted into the Disney College Program! I hope he is excited to begin this exciting adventure. I currently have several friends with children serving in the program, so I've heard first hand how thrilling it is for the entire family.

Your son will not be disqualified from participating in the Disney Princess Half Marathon because of his participation in the program. In fact, this race has many, many Cast Members and College program runners. However, depending on his position within the program, he many need to request the day off or request alternative work hours.

I hope this helps to ease your mind, Laura! Please do not hesitate to send me any additional questions you may have. I am here to help!
