My son has recently started wetting his bed through his pull-ups? We are going to WDW for aweek beginning on May 30th. Any suggestions ???

Hi, Melanie,   Oh, the fun of potty training!    This can present a bit of a challenge when on vacation.

I would suggest first of all to cut off all liquids an hour before bedtime.   Then, make sure your little guys uses the bathroom right before going to bed.   If his pull-up isn't sufficient to get him through the night, I would either put him in a diaper or double up on the pull-ups.   I know this sounds like a pain, but without the convenience of being at home, you will not have extra sheets to fall back on until morning if there is an accident.  Plus, you are on vacation, so I am sure you don't want the extra hassle of having to launder all his soiled PJ's every morning!   (There are laundry facilities at all the resorts if needed. )

In case he does leak through after all this, I would bring a waterproof pad to place under him.   I used to have these in my kids' cribs.    You can find these pads at any baby department.  They are the size of a large towel and are made of a very absorbent  material that won't soak through.  They are thin so they fit easily in your suitcase.

Good luck, and hopefully by the time you leave for vacation, the potty training will be successful!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
