Hi Kimberly,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Oh gosh, wishing your son a speedy recovery!
In the past, I’ve seen the
characters sign things other than autograph books. I’ve seen book bags, hats, and even frames. It’s definitely worth the ask! While standing in line for the meet and greets, ask a Cast Members to confirm it’s okay. Be flexible though, because rules could have changed. If it can happen, that'd definitely be one cool souvenir!
In your preparation for the trip, make sure to review the
attractions your son is hoping to ride on (especially the
thrill attractions), just to make sure he’ll be comfortable while he’s on the attraction. You should be able to review the safety information for each individual ride on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Just search for the attraction and review the description. If he doesn’t plan to ride, there are definitely a ton of fun
50th Anniversary snacks to try and great
shows to see!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your summer vacation in just a few weeks. If you have any final planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
