Hey Natasha!
A big, warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your great question about
Walt Disney World Resort rules and regulations.
As a mom of two young Mouseketeers, I completely understand your situation. Fussy, sleepy children are anything but magical! It is easy for children to become overstimulated and tired while traveling “the World." Fortunately, if you need to return to your Disney Resort hotel for your son to take a nap, or even to nap as a family, you will be able to do so and then return to the same Walt Disney World theme park you were at previously. In other words, you may exit and re-enter the same park, on the same day, as many times as necessary! In order to re-enter the theme park, you will need to present your valid theme park admission ticket linked to your
MagicBand or Admission Card again.
Many families choose to “rope drop” the theme parks in the morning, return to their
Disney Resort hotels during lunchtime, nap or take a swim in the pool, freshen up a bit, and then return to the theme parks in order to catch the
nighttime spectaculars, shows, and fireworks.
Disney Mom Tip: If you happen to drive to the Walt Disney World theme parks, you will be happy to know that you only pay for standard parking one time per day as well!
Natasha, I encourage you to continue to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel while planning your upcoming visit. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to send them our way.
Wishing you an Unforgettable Vacation,
Priscila
