My son purchased Disney tickets with my PayPal will Disney invalidate the tickets?

    Hey there, hi there Charles!

You're as welcome as can be at planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question; I'd be happy to assist you.

I have good news! PayPal is accepted for bookings made directly through the Walt Disney World website. Please see this list of additional methods of payment you can use to secure theme park tickets and resort hotel reservations.

To ensure everything goes smoothly for your son's visit, I recommend he check My Disney Experience to see if his ticket was automatically linked to his account and if not, I'll explain how to add it. While logged into his account on the Walt Disney World website, your son should use the My Disney Experience drop-down menu and select "My Plans." He should scroll down until he sees a tab for "Tickets, Passes, & Memory Maker." If he has successfully purchased and linked a ticket, it will appear here with his name next to it. On the My Disney Experience Mobile App, he can locate his ticket by clicking on the three little lines in the bottom right corner of the screen and then tapping the "Tickets and Passes" square on the right.

Charles, if your son's ticket does not appear in either the mobile app or web version of My Disney Experience, he should locate the confirmation e-mail he received immediately after purchasing it. Using the alpha-numeric ticket ID code in the e-mail, he can link his ticket. On the web, he'll need to select "Link Tickets & Purchases" from the Add More Plans drop-down menu on the "My Plans" screen in My Disney Experience. On the mobile app, he should find the "Tickets and Passes" square I mentioned above and use the + icon in the top right corner of the screen to add his ticket.

I hope that helps your son confirm his purchase, Charles! When your son arrives in Walt Disney World, he can use Disney MagicMobile from his mobile device to redeem his tickets. This is also set up through the My Disney Experience Mobile App by clicking on those three little lines and then selecting "Disney MagicMobile."

Thanks again for sending your question our way, and we look forward to seeing your son at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
