Hi Mike and welcome to planDisney!
I just love being a
Walt Disney World Passholder because it gives my family the flexibility to visit the theme parks as often as possible and we sure do take advantage of that! I see that you are also a Florida resident, which gives you extra perks and discounts on things! Always check for
Florida resident specials on tickets and
Disney Resort hotel stays when planning your Walt Disney World vacation.
If an annual pass has not yet been activated, it can be reassigned to another Guest, however, if the annual pass was purchased as a Florida resident, the person who it will be reassigned to must also be a Florida resident and show proper
proof of residency. To reassign the pass, head to your son's My Disney Experience account and click on "
Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker". All tickets linked to your son and his friends and family will be listed there. Find the annual pass and click on "Reassign Ticket". If you have any issues, please
give a friendly Cast Member a call who can access his account and help him further.
The annual pass is not activated until the first time it is used in a theme park, so you will have a full year starting the first time you visit. Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
