    My son and I are planning to participate in the Mickey's Jingle Jungle 5k 2015. Being DVC members, we would like to book our resort to get our top choice in rooms. Is there transportation between all DVC resorts and the race, or only certain resorts?

    Welcome Home! Being a Disney Vacation Club Member myself, I can attest to the convenience of being able to visit Walt Disney World® Resort for a runDisney event on your membership! And you're picking one of the most fun and festive races to participate in while utilizing those magical points!

    Mickey's Jingle Jungle 5K is held during the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend and is one of the smaller race event weekends offered by runDisney, so not all Disney Vacation Club Resorts are considered "host resorts." However, there is generally a decent selection of options. And while travel details have not yet been released for this event, I can give you 2014's host resort information, as it is likely to be about the same for 2015. Event transportation is provided to all race activities when you stay at host resort. You can relax and let Disney do the driving.

    • The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge
