Hi Pete,
Hopefully we can find some dining options that will satisfy every member of your family and keep your wallet reasonably filled!
Are you planning on dining at counter service locations? An adult sized portion of chicken nuggets can be purchased at Cosmic Rays in Magic Kingdom. You could also get a child sized portion, depending on your son's appetite. They have some pretty nice options for the rest of your family, as well as a burger bar where you can add toppings.
Other counter service locations in each park that you might enjoy include:
- Epcot: La Cantina de San Angel, your son can have those chicken tenders while you enjoy some Mexican cuisine. Tangierine Cafe is also an option if you are in the mood for Moroccan cuisine.
- Animal Kingdom: Safari Nuggets is a cart that sells just chicken and corn dog nuggets. Then you can stop at Flame Tree Barbecue for your meal.
- Hollywood Studios: Backlot Express has some good sandwiches and salads that you might like.
I'm not sure where you're staying, but the food court at your resort is probably a great dining choice. You'll be able to pick up chicken nuggets for your son and have a wide variety of food options for everyone else.
Table service restaurants you might enjoy - again, if a restaurant offers something on the kids' menu, you can usually order an adult sized version for your picky tween eaters.
50's Prime Time Cafe, Restaurant Marrakesh, T-Rex, Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe, Paradiso 37, House of Blues. Just about every table service restaurant offers grilled chicken strips, but I'm guessing that won't be acceptable in the eyes of your son.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
