Hello, Aerielle, and welcome to planDisney! What an adventure you and your son have ahead of you on
Disney Cruise Line! I'm so excited for you both.
Disney Cruise Line does not require any legal
documentation or additional forms to be completed for parents or legal guardians. However, in addition to his passport, I would suggest bringing your son's birth certificate, as well as a notarized signed letter from your son's dad indicating you have permission to take your son on the cruise. Again, these are not required by Disney Cruise Line, and likely won't even be requested, but will put your mind at ease knowing there won't be any snags.
Aerielle, I sincerely can't wait for you and your son to experience the incredible activities and fun onboard your cruise. If your son is anything like my boys, he'll love watching movies in the theater, the unlimited soft-serve ice cream on the pool deck, and the video games at Kids Club. But no matter how you both decide to spend your time, you and your son will be making memories together that will last a lifetime - because you're the magic, Mom.
If you have any other questions that come up in your planning, don't hesitate to reach out to your
planDisney pals again, anytime. We're happy to help!
