    My son paid for he and hubby to go on the Backstage Magic Tour during our upcoming vacation, but never got a receipt or email verification. How can he get one aside from the confirmation number (which doesn't seem to indicate proof of payment)?

    Wow!  How nice of your son to do this!  They will soooooooooooooooooooo LOVE the Backstage Magic Tour - it is my absolute favorite!!!

    When I've booked my tours by phone, I've never gotten a receipt or an email verification and I've never had a problem.  Just make sure they write down the confirmation number and have it handy when they arrive to check in for the tour.  They have always had my name on a list and I have never even needed to give them my confirmation number.  If you are really concerned, call 407-WDW-TOUR (939-8687) between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. to confirm.

    If his credit card has not been charged yet, don't worry it will - ha!  Hopefully, he has a Chase Disney Rewards Visa and used that to book the tour which will have saved him 20%.  Of course, the "Park Perks" they offer are always subject to change but I always ask what, if any, discounts they are offering when booking a tour.

    Photo ID is required for each person taking the tour so tell them not to leave it behind.  They will have some super cool things to share with you when they return from their Backstage Magic Tour.  Tell them to be sure to wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking involved.  They are very strict about not allowing photographs in backstage areas where most of the tour takes place.  The tour lasts approximately 7 hours and that was not near long enough for me - it only made me want more!
