Bright suns, Kellie! Welcome to planDisney!
The Most Magical Place on Earth can't wait to welcome you!
The Jedi Training Academy was such a fun experience for Star Wars-loving younglings. Unfortunately, I do not have any intel regarding its return. While I do hope it makes its way back to
Disney's Hollywood Studios, there is no information available right now. Many Guest-favorite experiences are returning each day, so keep your eyes on
Disney Parks Blog to see if this is the next return to be announced!
Kellie, there are so many ways to help your young Padawan get the most out-of-this-world experience while at the Walt Disney World Resort. First of all, you can spend an entire day exploring just
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! The Marketplace is full of unique shopping experiences, clothing, costumes, and delicious snacks.
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are can't miss attractions. And if you're lucky, you may see Rey, Chewbacca, Stormtroopers and even Kylo Ren lurking about in this immersive world.
If you're looking for something extra, you may be interested in letting your son build his very own Droid at
Droid Depot. He will choose from an R, C or BB unit and can configure the droid to his liking. If you choose, you can add a personality chip that will choose an allegiance, changing the way his droid interacts with different areas and characters!
Also, make sure to download the
Play Disney Parks Mobile App on your mobile device to allow your son to expand on his adventure in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! He can scan, translate and stay busy in ride queue lines. If you purchase the new
MagicBand+, there is also a special bounty hunting game that will surely make his day!
Til the Spire,
Ashley
