My son is 2.5, they did not let me add him to the dining plan when I made the reservations because he is not 3. They said I would be able to do it at check in, in person. I read on here that you have to do it 2 days prior to check in. I want him on it??

    Amy:

You may not realize this, but your son can eat for free while at Disney--and in my book, I'm all about the free!  According to the Dining Plan, it's unavailable to children under the age of 3.  However, children under the age of 3 can share from an adult's plate at no charge.  I have to say, I'd be jumping for joy about this!

However, if you'd rather not have him share, you can order from the menu and it will simply be added to your bill.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
