My son will 5 on our next trip and uses a w/c. We drove the last time but want to fly this time. Will we still be able to use DME from the airport to the resort? Can it accommodate his w/c?

    Hi Dana ~

I completely understand having a little one with special needs. Planning ahead certainly makes your trip run more smoothly.

Disney does a great job of trying to accommodate Guests with mobility disabilities and Disney's Magical Express can indeed accommodate Guests in wheelchairs. If your son can and wants to transfer, they can put his wheelchair underneath for the trip. The driver can lower that side of Disney's Magical Express to make it easier for him to board.

If your son will need to remain in his wheelchair, call Disney's Magical Express at 866-599-0951 a few days in advance to let them know that you will need a bus with a lift so that it is noted on your reservation.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. It is indeed a pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
