Hi, my son (nearly 3yrs) is a MASSIVE Stitch fan. Looking at the map at WDW it appears that the Stitch ride is like the old Alien ride. Will he be able to go on this ride or is he too young?

    Elizabeth:

Stitch's Great Escape in the Magic Kingdom has a height requirement for guests to enjoy the attraction. If your son is 40" or taller, he can experience it. (That's a little over one meter since I bet you use the metric system.) However, my son was not that tall until he was nearly 5, so I would measure your son before the trip so neither of you will be disappointed. I must be honest, though. Even if my preschooler was tall enough, the total darkness in some parts of the experience along with very load noises always scares a few adults in the room, not to mention kids, and I would probably opt until he was older.

If you really want to enjoy Stitch--and in a more age-appropriate setting for your toddler--I suggest booking a breakfast reservation at 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort. The meal features a lot of character interaction with Lilo & Stitch as well as Mickey and will make for memorable pictures you can print and frame for him to enjoy in his room when he returns from vacation.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
