Hi, there!
Kristina, I'm so happy to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. And with a
little one in tow! How very exciting.
You'll be pleased to know that there are many
experiences your little guy can enjoy at Magic Kingdom Park! My daughter is 18-months old and at this age, she most loves attractions with gentle, easy tracks like Peter Pan's Flight and Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid. Boat-ride attractions like "it's a small world" and Jungle Cruise are perfect for toddlers too! At Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, my little girl can play to her heart's content in the interactive queues. I know your son will enjoy those too! To cool off, be sure to let him splash around at Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station. From one mom to another - pack a change of clothes in your park bag! I always pack an empty Ziploc bag too. It's the perfect place to store the clothes that get soaked.
I recommend making a reservation for a
Character Dining Experience during your stay. The Crystal Palace is located in Magic Kingdom Park and features a kid-friendly buffet along with Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood. Chef Mickey's is another great option. This unique Character Dining Experience isn't in Magic Kingdom Park, but it's just a short walk or monorail ride away at Disney's Contemporary Resort! Since your little guy is under the age of 3, he can eat for free at both of these dining locations.
I hope this was helpful, Kristina. Please let me know if you have any other questions! I'd love to help you plan a magical visit.
Ashley
