    my son will be 7 months old when we come to WDW, even though he is free to get in, will be still get a magic band since we are staying on site? wanted to have something as a keepsake for his 1st time ya know.

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

    My son has a MagicBand from his first visit when he was 5 1/2 months old, so YES, you should be able to get a MagicBand for your son as a keepsake for his first visit to Walt Disney World Resort. 

    The best way to make sure that he’s going to get one is to log in to your My Disney Experience Account. From there, go into the “My MagicBands and Cards” section, and you should be able to click on the MagicBands that are associated with your family’s upcoming Walt Disney World Resort reservation. You’ll be able to customize your party’s MagicBands there, including your little one’s. If you don’t see his MagicBand listed, please contact Walt Disney World Resort in order to make sure that he’s included in your reservation.
