My son is 15 months old. So I need to bring a birth certificate to prove this so he doesn't have to wear a mask?

    Hello Kaitlin!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by and allowing us to answer your question! As you know, Mickey Mouse made the MAGICAL announcement that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are planning to open their gates on April 30, 2021! WOO HOO! This is INCREDIBLE news!

Mickey Mouse and his pals are doing whatever they can to ensure the safety of each guest because their goal is to keep the MAGIC of the Disneyland Resort alive in our hearts for yEARS to come! Because of this, I want to inform you that the Disneyland Resort phased reopening plan is to only allow California residents visit the theme parks at this time. I am wishing upon a star that guests from all over the world will be able to visit Disneyland Resort in the future.

I did want to answer your question regarding children under two years old wearing masks. I just spoke to a very helpful Cast Member, and she said that you would not need a birth certificate to prove how old your baby is to enter any of the Disneyland Theme Parks. This is great information to know when you are allowed to book your Disneyland Resort vacation in the future!

As we wait, I would highly recommend following Disneyland on all of its social media channels and subscribing to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
