My son will be 15 months old for his first trip to Disney. On the rides that don't state a height requirement can he ride with us? Can he ride on our lap or will have have to sit down?

    Hi Krista,

Your son can ride on the rides that don't have height requirements.  I think the rule of thumb is that if the child can walk and sit up on their own, then they have to sit on the ride themselves (next to you).  I do remember being told over and over again that my daughter had to get off my lap during her first trip to WDW.  My natural instinct and hers at that age was to be on my lap.  The ride attendant will tell you before the ride starts whether you son has to sit on the seat or not.

As a parent you want them to se safe, but you also want them to enjoy the ride and see everything that's going on.  That's why the ride attendants are there to make sure safety comes first.

Hope that helps answer you question.
