My son will be 19 months old when our family visits Disney . Will Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan's Flight, & Snow White's Scary Adventure be too scary for him? He has 2 older brothers so he doesn't scare easily! Any advice?

    Hi Colleen,

My daughter went on all of those rides when she was 20 months old.  The only one that scared her was Snow White's Scary Adventure.  He is probably too little to be scared of the Haunted Mansion.  If he is like my daughter he won't understand the scary story line.  I once took a friend's 7 yr old daughter on that ride and she began screaming and crying during the rides pre-show.  You never know exactly how kids are going to react.  I would recommend starting out with Peter Pan's Flight and see how he does.

Before you go on Pirates of the Caribbean tell your son that it will get really dark for a minute and there will be a drop.  If you think he will be scared by the complete darkness of the ride, you may want to bring a small light up toy.

    Have a great trip
