Hi Jonathan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My son was also 10 months old during his very first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Even now, 5 years later I still get teary eyed thinking about what an amazing time we had. That trip was actually one of our easiest trips since he was still satisfied with either being carried or sitting/napping in the stroller. I will never forget the excitement in his eyes when he saw Mickey Mouse for the very first time.
Planning for Preschoolers and Little Ones is so much fun! Any attraction that lists “Any Height” as the height requirement means that the child is able to experience the attraction with an adult. Some of our favorite attractions to experience were Dumbo the Flying Elephant, It’s a Small World, Peter Pans Flight, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, all located at Magic Kingdom Park.
My favorite thing that we did was get my son’s first haircut at
Harmony Barbershop. They did an amazing job keeping him entertained while they trimmed his lovely locks! At the end they put a Mickey Ear Hat on his head that said “First Haircut” on his head, we received a certificate that included the date of the haircut, and they saved some of his hair for us.
While you are there make sure to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers located at each of the Theme Parks. They are a great place to cool off, change diapers, nurse or bottle feed. Also grab a “First Visit” pin at any Guest Services location!
I hope that your son has the most #Unforgettable first visit!
