    My son will be 18 months when we go on our cruise to the Western Carribean. What is there to do with him on the ship and at the islands?

    Hi MyLinh!

    I just returned from a 7 night cruise on the Disney Magic and my family had a wonderful time; my brother was on the cruise with us and his 4 month old baby and his family also had a great time.  With an 18 month old child, I would suggest doing the beach excursions on the various islands.  I think your 18 month old would love playing in the water and on the sand.  I know my 4 month old niece absolutely loved it!

    On the ship, your son can play in the splash area and meet the numerous Disney characters that roam the ship.   He and you can also enjoy Disney movies in the beautiful Buena Vista Theater.  Just exploring the ship is a lot of fun!
